Melbourne Metro Tunnel (MTP): Planning and Project Controls Advisor to the MTP Integrated Program team.

I was nominated by RPV to work with RSA, HCMT and Metro Tunnel Project (MTP) Team to focus on the interfaces between the three parties.

I was responsible to monitor the interfaces between HCMT and RSA, to make sure the HCMT Sets are at the right configuration, and have passed the required static and dynamic tests with the HCS equipment installed on them, so that they could be put through mainline testing for the different stages of the Metro Tunnel Project. Also, I had to make sure that all the safety requirements are met be the parties and MTM are satisfied that the HCMT Sets can go on the mainline and get tested.

This is to ensure that the required number of HCMT Sets are available to perform mainline testing for the different stages of the Metro Tunnel Project and also required number of HCMT Sets are approved and available to commence operation on the ‘Day 1’ of the Metro Tunnel Opening.

2015 – 2020 | Downer Rail

  • New Intercity Fleet (NIF) Bid: Tender for Transport of New South Wales for manufacturing and commissioning of 554 new carriages to replace NSW TrainLink’s Intercity fleet.
  • Sydney Growth Trains (SGT) Bid: Tender for manufacturing and commissioning 24 Trains for Transport of NSW with the option of 45 extra Train Sets.
  • High Capacity Trains Melbourne - HCMT (Bid and Delivery): Involvement in bid and delivery phase for provision of planning and project controls services for Manufacturing, Testing and Commissioning of 65 Trains, Construction and commissioning of a Maintenance Facility and a Light Service Facility.
