EBTA (Bulleen Interchange) – Symal / Laing O'Rourke | June 2024 – March 2025| $4B

  • Management of a team to complete multi-disciplinary scope including; road diversions, retaining walls, ITS modifications and major traffic switches.
  • Point of contact for all site works responsible for reporting in the daily co-ordination meeting to manage resourcing, materials, design updates and milestone tracking
  • Providing input directly to the SPE and PM for EOM reporting; including managing several cost codes (20million total)
  • Weekly P6 contractual updates track critical milestones and optimise staging to delink with other teams / disciplines
  • Forecasting, estimating and tracking all financial aspects of allocated and unallocated budget for accurate financial reporting
  • Design optimisation and RFI management to challenge and improve design based on site restraints
  • Mentoring and training a team of younger engineers (5 total) to ensure development

SEPA (Dublin Rd) -Laing O'Rourke - April-June 2024

  • Management of a small team to complete civils scope external to station works throughout a night shift occupation campaign to align with critical station commissioning. Scope included all civil works (earthworks, drainage, pavement construction, ITS & public lighting) to complete & commission several station car parks and tie ins to connecting roads. Ongoing co-ordination with dayshift crews to ensure continuity of works by planning and reprograming accordingly

  • Led the delivery of a project section involving earthworks, subgrade rectification, stormwater drainage, pavement construction, and finishing works. As a Quality Manager, managed ITP approval, work LOT tracking, and NCR closeout. Oversaw and coordinated daily site activities with a team of site engineers.
