Enabling package consisting of management of subcontractors and continuous earthworks to form a substation compound. Ducting package consisted of approx. 3.5km ESB ducting and 2x2 trench form laid in areas specified by the client. Quality, location, and height of ducting constantly monitored. (Total Project Value: €5 million)
Project: – ESB 38Kv Substation, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny, Ireland.
Role: Project Manager/Engineer
Project Manager for the construction of a 38kV ESB substation. Project included the pouring of 3 module bases, 2 Transformer bunds and other smaller concrete packages. Drainage, ducting and roadworks also included within the package. Mainly responsible for Cost control, QA/QC, Staff and sub-contractor management and the Health, Safety and Welfare of those on site.
