Aotea Civil Pty Limited- subcontracting to CPB Contractors, Eastern Busway Alliance and Department of Infrastructure and Transport Gov South Australia.

Strzelecki Track Upgrade Project - Australia:
Strzelecki Track is a major link access between the Queensland and South Australia states. I am hired on the project to manage the sealing of 471 km unsealed road on the project as a contractor (Aotea Civil Pty limited) working on scoping the packages and awarding the contracts. Once awarded, will managing the construction as well.

This involves project management and engineering, while managing the interim maintenance contractors to deliver quality product and documentation and successfully handing over various trades such as maintenance grading and patch repairs, contractual, variations, resourcing, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Eastern Busway Alliance Project $1B NZ:
Eastern Busway is an Alliance of Fletcher, Acciona, Auckland Transport, AECOM and Jacobs. I was hired on the project to manage deconstruction on the project as a contractor (Aotea Civil limited) working on deconstruction of 61 residential and relocating 21 properties. This involves project management and engineering, while managing site and project engineers to deliver quality documentation and successfully handing over various trades such as Utilities, contractual, variations, resourcing, and Safety.

Transmission Gully- Senior Project Engineer $1.25B NZ:

Transmission Gully team managed to re-negotiate me back on the project as a contractor (Aotea Civil limited) working on offline drainage works and quality close out. This involves project management and engineering, while managing site and project engineers to deliver quality documentation and successfully handing over various trades such as Utilities, Drainage, Road furniture, Signage and Pavement.

ETRACS NZ Rail- Project Engineer $250m - $400m:

Employed by John Holland on Wellington Metro Upgrade project while recruit takes over (4 months). Relocated to Auckland and working on procurement packages on the eTRACS, John Holland JV with McConnel Dowel. Track Formation Packages including drainage. Managing drainage team for enabling works including subcontractor supervisors and site engineering team.

Transmission Gully- Project Engineer $1B:

Transmission Gully was one of the iconic infrastructure projects of New Zealand. I joined the project as a project engineer with the utilities team. Managed power, gas, water, Chorus and Vodafone service diversions and was responsible for the streetlight package throughout the project.

Managing the project team and coordinating with sub-contractors throughout the relocation process and obtaining a sign off from each utility provider. I also managed Wire rope Barriers team and drainage on Transmission Gully. It was a challenge to be part of tier 1 contractor, manage various project aspects and team members, maintain safety and quality high profile standards, and deliver the project with Wellingtons challenging weather conditions.

I was then later approached by the company to work as a contracted staff within boosted my career as a contractor.

  • Monitored and tracked project progress to support completion on time and within budget.
  • Coordinated with clients to develop design specifications to meet needs.
  • Collaborated with team members to define scope, timeline, deliverables and resources needed to complete each task effectively.

the project are developing shear keys, undercuts, subsoil drainage, palisade piles, Reinforced earth batters, etc. My role included the implementation, management and updating of Project Quality Plans, management of project quality checklist completion, liaising with client, driving the project, progress claims and project delivery with safety and profits.
